Rizespor scored twice at both Eyüpspor and Göztepe, but created 1.85 xG in the former and only 0.78 in the latter. At Eyüpspor, Ali Sowe scored from a useful assisted chance, Valentin Mihăilă missed a substantial opportunity before being dismissed, and Moussa Diakité later had another good effort saved. The attack therefore supplied valuable chances beyond the two goals, even though Rizespor played the second half with ten men.

At Göztepe, Rizespor had no first-half target and only 0.07 xG before scoring twice after the interval. The finishes came from chances worth roughly 0.11 and 0.19 xG, requiring much more efficient conversion of a smaller overall supply. The 2–1 win at Gaziantep sat between those performances, with 1.17 xG and two first-half goals followed by only two second-half attempts. Meanwhile, 28 shots and 1.85 xG against Samsunspor produced no goal. For the next fixture, repeated clear chances offer a firmer basis for another multiple-goal return than the recent scores alone. The Göztepe double is not evidence that a quiet attacking half or modest chance total will routinely be overcome by finishing.

Rizespor conceded ten shots on target and 2.78 xG at Göztepe in a 2–2 draw. A late penalty supplied Göztepe’s equaliser, but the hosts had already created substantial danger before it. That is a different defensive environment from the 1–0 win at Konyaspor, where the hosts managed only one second-half attempt, or the 2–0 at Eyüpspor, where 26 opposing shots produced five targets and 1.41 xG. Shot volume and the quality of the resulting danger were not the same across those matches.

The Eyüpspor clean sheet also came after Rizespor lost Valentin Mihăilă before half-time, so the heavy second-half pressure had a clear numerical context. At Gaziantep, the opponent’s only goal was a late own goal by Zakaria Ariss, making the 2–1 result different again from conceding through repeated ordinary chances. Rizespor’s own attack created only 0.78 xG at Göztepe despite scoring twice, while stronger totals against Samsunspor and Alanyaspor produced blanks. For the next fixture, both attacks need independent assessment: sustained Göztepe-level danger is more threatening to a clean sheet, but Rizespor’s recent two-goal return also relied on efficient finishing from limited opportunities.

Rizespor won 2–1 at Gaziantep without taking a corner, while Gaziantep took eight. Their goals came from assisted chances before half-time, showing that a productive attack can finish its moves without producing repeated restarts. The 2–0 win at Eyüpspor brought another large corner deficit, 2–8, with Eyüpspor taking seven after the interval against a Rizespor side reduced to ten before half-time.

At home to Samsunspor, the pattern reversed: Rizespor lost 2–0 despite a 10–1 corner advantage, with five in each half. Against Alanyaspor, eight corners were only enough for an 8–7 edge, whereas seven at Konyaspor created a 7–1 margin. The opponent’s contribution therefore changed the comparison as much as Rizespor’s own production. For the next fixture, a Rizespor win or two-goal expectation should not be used as evidence of a corner advantage. The stronger corner setup is one in which they repeatedly sustain pressure and restrict the opponent’s restarts. A match won through a few efficient attacks, or played largely with ten men while protecting a lead, can produce the opposite corner result.

Rizespor supplied ten of the 11 corners against Samsunspor, while Eyüpspor supplied eight of ten in the match Rizespor won 2–0. The Eyüpspor count rose sharply after Rizespor’s first-half dismissal, with seven home corners after the break. Those routes to a double-digit combined count depended on opposite contributors and different numerical conditions.

Against Alanyaspor, the total reached 15 through substantial contributions from both teams, eight and seven. At Gaziantep, however, Rizespor took none and the hosts’ eight were insufficient to reach ten. At Konyaspor, Rizespor’s seven were paired with only one home corner; the four-goal Göztepe draw contained just seven combined. For the next fixture, a high total needs either strong production from both sides or one side capable of carrying most of the count. Rizespor scoring twice is not a reliable signal, because it occurred with zero corners at Gaziantep, two at Eyüpspor and three at Göztepe. The opponent’s response, game state and any numerical imbalance are more concrete explanations of the changing totals.

Beşiktaş’s 6–2 win over Çorum contained 3.64 combined xG, barely above the 3.58 in their 3–2 defeat at Amed. The extra three goals were primarily a finishing difference rather than a much larger chance environment. Beşiktaş converted six of seven targets against Çorum, while Çorum scored twice from 0.67 xG. The eight-goal score should therefore not be treated as a normal return from another match with similar opportunities.

At Amed, the chance distribution was more balanced, with Amed creating 1.54 xG and Beşiktaş 2.04, although a late penalty and Amed dismissal contributed to the finish. The 3–0 win over Erzurumspor stopped at three despite 2.68 combined xG and included an own goal, while the 2–1 win at Fenerbahçe contained 2.15 combined xG. For the next fixture, four or more goals need a credible supply beyond routine scoring from the favourite. That could come from both attacks creating opportunities, as at Amed, or from one team converting an unusually large share. The latter is a more fragile assumption, especially when based on the exceptional Çorum second half.

Beşiktaş scored six against Çorum from seven shots on target and 2.97 xG. Four goals arrived after half-time from only 0.76 second-half xG, with every second-half target going in. That was exceptional finishing, not a six-goal chance baseline. The first half had actually contained the greater chance quality, including a penalty and a valuable Václav Černý corner header, yet produced only two goals.

The 3–0 win over Erzurumspor had a different structure: 2.27 xG and six targets supported a productive attack, with an own goal adding the third. At Fenerbahçe, two goals from 1.66 xG included a clear Dušan Vlahović opportunity. At Amed, the second goal came from a late penalty after Amed’s dismissal, following a strong Beşiktaş second-half chase. The lower returns matter too: 19 shots against Eyüpspor produced one goal, and 14 at Alanyaspor produced none, with only 1.28 and 0.74 xG. For the next fixture, multiple goals have stronger support when Beşiktaş create repeated valuable chances. Reproducing the Çorum score would additionally require a finishing rate far beyond what the shot count alone establishes.

Beşiktaş conceded only 0.09 xG to Eyüpspor and 0.41 to Erzurumspor in their two recorded clean sheets. Each opponent managed one target. Those results were supported by a real shortage of opposition danger, although Eyüpspor also played with ten men after the 68th minute. They are more persuasive examples of defensive restriction than simply a sequence of opponents failing to convert clear chances.

Amed posed a different challenge, putting eight of ten attempts on target and scoring three from 1.54 xG. The finishing was strong, particularly the two low-value early goals, but the accurate attempts were much more frequent than in the clean-sheet games. Çorum’s two goals came from only 0.67 xG, while Fenerbahçe scored from a throw-in set piece in a 0.49-xG performance. Those concessions should not all be treated as equivalent defensive exposure. For the next fixture, assess whether the opponent can sustain accurate, valuable attempts or needs exceptional finishing from a small supply. Beşiktaş’s own attack also remains a separate condition: six targets at Alanyaspor produced no goal from only 0.74 xG. Neither the clean-sheet record nor the scoring record settles both sides of the question.

Beşiktaş beat Erzurumspor 3–0 and lost 3–2 at Amed, yet won both corner counts 10–1. The route was different. Against Erzurumspor, Beşiktaş took eight corners before half-time while building a 2–0 lead. At Amed, they took none before half-time while falling 2–0 behind, then earned all ten after the break. The same final margin therefore reflected early sustained pressure in one match and a large attacking chase in the other.

Their other recorded Süper Lig matches also brought substantial own corner production: eight against Eyüpspor, seven at Alanyaspor, eight against Çorum and seven at Fenerbahçe. The opponent determined how large the advantage became. Alanyaspor matched seven for a tie, while Fenerbahçe took only two, leaving a five-corner Beşiktaş lead. Çorum’s six narrowed the margin despite Beşiktaş scoring six goals. For the next fixture, the useful question is whether Beşiktaş can maintain that restart supply and keep the opponent’s contribution low. A likely win is not required for a large margin, as Amed showed, but a strong opposing corner count can erase the advantage even when Beşiktaş reach seven.

Beşiktaş took between seven and ten corners in each of the six recorded Süper Lig matches. That own contribution carried the combined count to ten against Eyüpspor and 11 against Erzurumspor and Amed, even though those opponents supplied only two, one and one. The route did not require a balanced contest: Erzurumspor were behind while Beşiktaş built early pressure, whereas Amed led while Beşiktaş earned all ten of their corners after half-time.

Fenerbahçe provides the narrow counterexample. Beşiktaş took seven, but Fenerbahçe added only two, leaving nine combined. Alanyaspor and Çorum contributed much more, seven and six, lifting those totals to 14. The threshold therefore depends partly on whether Beşiktaş reach the upper end of their observed output or receive enough help from the opponent. For the next fixture, sustained Beşiktaş restart pressure is the central condition, but a low opposing count can still leave the total short. The Amed match also cautions against judging too early from a quiet first half: the teams had only one corner at the interval before a concentrated second-half chase transformed the count.
